Ordovician Hemichordata Fossils

The graptoloids were colonial animals with many miniscule individual living tubes (thecae) grouped together into a colony called a rhabdosome. The rhabdosome often resembles a jigsaw blade. When living, the rhabdosome was suspended from a float by a slender thread called a nema.
