CREED

Catholic Resources for the Emacs Editor

CREED is a collection of Catholic Resources for the Emacs EDitor. The CREED package includes (or will include ;^):

• cal-catholic, an extension to Ed Reingold's calendar package to calculate Catholic liturgical dates
• Info and texinfo files for:
  • the Catechism of the Catholic Church,
  • the Summa Theologiae of St. Thomas Aquinas,
  • the 1983 code of Canon Law in English and Latin,
  • Editions of Scripture: RSV, NAB, Douay-Rheims, Vulgate (the usual net version), and the New Vulgate,
  • the documents of the Second Vatican Council,
  • the writings of Pope John Paul II and earlier popes,
  • curial documents,
  • and whatever else might be useful to have within Emacs

Please contact me with any installation questions or bug reports. I can't guarantee I'll be of any help, though, since I only use Linux and FSF Emacs. You're pretty much on your own if you use Mac, Windows, or XEmacs.
