Prayer request
Back in May my wife had a difficult delivery. After being anesthetized for an emergency c-section, her larynx closed during intubation. They worked on that problem for a few frantic minutes, then decided to reverse the anesthesia with drugs and do a spinal block. Her larynx opened after she woke up, and the surgery proceeded very quickly after that. During the time her larynx was closed, she and the baby were without oxygen.
A few weeks later she had what seemed to be a small stroke with temporary right-side numbness and paralysis, and since then she's had occasional short migraines that sneak up and stab her in the head. Since all this started, her once-mighty short-term memory has degraded to, say, the level of mine.
She's had a CT scan and lotsa blood tests, and Thursday morning she's scheduled for a head and neck MRA, an echocardiogram and sundry other small stuff. If you have a moment during the day, how about a quick Ave?
UPDATE: Thanks! Y'all are just like the folks on our homeschooling email list (hi, Ellyn). The tests went well and the MRA even went faster than expected. Now we just hang out and wait for the doctors to make something of it all (we hope).

Dear Pastor : Please pray for that my mother went to a company. Unfortunately, she had two bosses named Mr. Kwong and Mr. Ho, and two workmates named Hin Chai and ANNA, they tempted my mother to invest her money, they cheated my mother, and took away the saving of money belong my mother(according to the financial situation of my family, it was a large amount of money), and they said that my mother still owed to a company money, please pray for that the company will not force my family members to pay back the money;besides, the policemen can not arrest the Mr. Kwong , Mr. Ho , Hin Chai and Anna firstly, but afterwards they arrrested one of them, thank God for that after that my mother believed in the Jesus Christ, and policemen informed her that one of the boss in the company was arrested, thank God for that the policemen informed my mother to the police station to recognize him out, and thank God for that my mother can recognize him , please pray for that God can help him to have pity on my mother , and regret about his doing, and can return the money to my mother with other persons who cheated her, furthermore, please pray for that the policemen can arrest the rest, include Mr. Ho, Hin Chai and Anna, and policemen can obtain the evidence to accuse them in the Judiciary Court, and the Judiciary Court can help my mother to get her money back, because we are very poor, and I am afraid my psychological health is not good enough to do a job,please pray for that God can give me talent to earn living for my family members and myself; besides, my mother is old, the job of my brother is very dangerous and can only earn a little amount which need to pay the living fees of his family and part of living fees of my mother, please pray for that God can solve the financial problems, the policemen and the judiciary court can help my mother because my mother do not carefully retained some evil evidence about the Mr. Kwong , Mr. Ho, Hin Chai and Anna, so it maybe very difficult to accuse Mr. Kwong and other persons who still not arrested, may God have mercy upon my family members ,to solve the problems we had met, and we can have abilities to co-operate with the policemen and Judiciary Court in investigation and get back our money which we earned in a very hard way, furthermore, please pray for that my father borrowed two hunderd thousand dollars from a friend, we afraid that he met a financial problems, please pray for that God can solve the financial problems he had met, and he had fifty thousand dollars took away by a business partner , and the finger of his business partner was cut by another business partner , he need to inform the policemen in the mainland China, please pray for that God can protect him and hinder him if it is not good for him to do the business in the mainland China, so that we can maintain our living, please pray for that God can protect my family members not to worry about the financial problems we had met,and we can build up a good relationship with each other not matter what accusation made from the wife and the son of my brother, we will not hurt by them, so that we can have a good health,and my brother will not go on gambling and drink the wine, in order that my grandmother, my father, my sister, my brother can all accept the Jesus Christ, and my mother and I can have a spiritual growth up, thank you.

Firstly, please pray for that my mother was cheated by Mr. Kwong, Mr Ho, Hin Chai and Anna last year, she went to a company and worked as an Office assistant, but they cheated my mother, and compelled my mother to give her money out to them(they cheated my mother that the money was used for investment, and the investment was failured), and went away, thank God for that the policemen arrested Mr. Kwong now, but the Mr. Ho , Hin Chai and Anna were still not arrested, please pray for that God can help the policemen in the investigation, and find the evidence to accuse the Mr. Kwong and his helper in the judiciary court, thank God for that the policemen sent us several letters till now about that the investigation is in the progressing, please pray for that God can move their heart, Mr. Kwong , Mr. Ho, Hin Chai and Anna will regret about that they cheated my mother, and they can have pity on my mother , and return the money back to my mother , thank you.
Secondly, please pray for that my brother was hurt his leg in the working place, please pray for that my brother can be rehabilitated soon, and he can be rehabilitated completely, and please pray for that he can be maintained in his job, please pray for that God can cure his leg, and protect his job, and give him good health, his boss will provide the sick leave fees for him till he totally restored his health, thank you.
Thirdly, (1) Please pray for that I can improve my working efficiency, and please pray for and thank God for that God can protect my family members and I will not to be hurt by my workmates and supervisors in order that I can have psychological health during working and I will have a stable job after my contract due, and pray for and thank God for that I will not be suffered in the marital problems in my job. Please pray for and thank God for that I can have talent to do a job if I will not further the contract later. (2)Please pray for that I can restore my psychological health, because I am always blame myself about the sin I committed when I was young, I am afraid that God will punish me about the sin I committed when I was young, please pray for that I can have biblical mind to know will God punish me one day or not, so that I can live out good witnesses and have peace to face the punishment from God one day. (3)Please pray for and thank God for that I will not be suffered in the marital problems, so that I can seek the kingdom and the righteousness of God first, and have a spiritual growth up, and I will not regret about the decision I made in this marriage this life, that I will only choose the Christian girlfriend that was arranged by God, please pray for that if God had not prepare a Christian girlfriend for me, help me to keep alone whole life, so that I will not be hurt again in order that I can restore my psychological health and have a spiritual growth up. (4)Please pray for that the son of my brother will not hurt himself, my brother and my sister will not be suffered in the marital problems , my sister can have good psychological health, and we can maintain a good relationship, we will not be hurt by the husband of my sister and the wife of my brother, so that my mother and I can help my sister and my brother to accept the Jesus Christ.
