Happy birthday to me...

I'm 37 today. I was born on the feast of Corpus Christi in 1966, so I also have a second movable celebration in addition to the one today.

Random notes on turning 37:

we had three doctors appointments today
as I was leaving for work this evening, my 6 year old son said, "Happy birthday, Daddy!" That was so good I had him say it again :-)
I've grown lots of gray hairs in the last year
Mom still calls me at 11:08 a.m. every June 9 (good thing I wasn't born in the middle of the night)

Happy belated birthday!!!

I love the fact that your Mom calls you at your 'natal moment.' (I should start doing that with my kids - there's one that was born at 4:39 am who would be just tickled.... :) )

The best cure for the grey hairs? Don't look. Especially if you're driving a car with a sun roof on a sunny day. You be so mesmerized while studying the 'progress' that you totally don't notice the lights changing to green.
