An ass-kicking saint
Sorry, but this sort of prissy limp-wristed ruby-lipped saint picture turns my stomach. There's no disputing taste and all that, but still... St. Louis de Montfort needs to come back and kick some more ass.
I laughed when I read the title to this! But it's so true.

I am lucky in that my patron saint was actually photographed. Compare her photos to the eighty billion holy card poses of the Little Flower and you'll see a determined and intelligent Frenchwoman, with an intriguing light in her eye, become a cavity locater.
Most holy cards are an abomination! Same with most Marian processions, I'm sorry to say. Yuck.
Metaphysics is the finding of bad reasons for what we believe upon instinct, but to find these reasons is no less an instinct.
