Posted by: Frances at March 22, 2003 09:38 AMEveryday we are told stories with meaningless plots, and demeaning perceptions on life. I'm defiantly seeing this movie! It inspires me to continue writing scripts with life giving messages, and to show that there is a reason we are here on this earth.

Posted by: Evan at June 12, 2003 10:42 PMI have spent my life watching movies which portray Jesus as moderately "uncomfortably" hanging on the cross, after a bit of a whipping, until death. Knowing full well how unrealistic this is, and having studied on how the Romans really treated Jesus and their victims in regard to beatings and crucifixions, the closest thing I've seen to reality was "The Last Temptation Of Christ" in terms of a real crucifixion scene. I hope Gibson's "Passion" shows, for the first time, what really happened in true gorry detail. If so it would have to receive an "X" rating, but I am hoping for a "NR" rating. IT IS TIME FOR PEOPLE TO WAKE UP TO THE HORRENDOUS AND UNIMAGINABLE SUFFERING JESUS AND MANY OTHERS WENT THROUGH BY CRUCUFIXION!!!!
Posted by: Holden at June 21, 2003 08:37 PMThink about what it would feel like if you were to have huge nine inch spikes pounded through your wrists slowly (both wrists) and then once through, continued pounding into the wood beneath your wrist(s). Utter agony? Hardly. More like unimaginable agony. You have a major nerve which passes through your arm, and the spike would directly cut through that nerve. You can't imagine the pain. Then when you are just about almost able to catch your breath (but you cannot even being to open your eyes) the cross beam to which you are nailed is lifted, causing unspeakable agony from the pressure of the spikes through your wrists. It is so bad you could begin to scream - but you cannot find your voice by this time. After the cross is raised, and you still cannot comprehend the utter agony your body is experiencing (nor can you possibly endure another minute of it) you feel a spike point placed on the mid-section of your feet (other side of your heel). As you begin to recognize what this spike point feels like, it is suddenly hammered through your feet and into the wood beneath with several slow, excruciating blows. Your body shrivels, drips, spazes, and sweats. You want to throw up but you cannot not even move for the extreme, extreme agony. Knowing that you cannot move, you find that you have to push up on the spike in your feet in order to take a breath.
You are truly like a mosquito driven through a needle.
In your mind you beg for death because you cannot find a way to utter a sound, but death is no where in sight and you can't endure another moment of the agony.
Death could take several days in this position.
This is what Jesus and many others REALLY went through. I hope this is what Gibson's movie shows. We really need an awakening in this country as to what really went on to Jesus and many others. We really need to experience a crucifixion firsthand. Take us there, Mr. Gibson.
Thank you Mel. I've prayed for you & your family for years...I cannot express how ecstatic I am to know about this movie coming out. What a GIFT to our crumbling society. May the Lord's blessing be on you and each member of your family.

Posted by: John Henry at August 13, 2003 01:07 AMI can understand why people are glad to see something covering Christ. I can NOT understand how and why people would WANT to see the torture of Christ, in such vivid detail and to such degrees...? I commend Mel for paying the costs out of his own pocket, ignoring the hype and criticism from people and media- especially since Hollywood doesn't support anything God-affiliated, for the most part. I think this movie depicts and encourages what is already wrong with our society- that we can eat popcorn and watch violence at the same time. (The theory of pleasure and pain) It saddens me that anyone would WANT to watch or support this. Why not a documentary on His miracles? It seems to feed more on the torture of Christ than His purpose of being here...but that's just my view.
Posted by: Kary at August 13, 2003 08:28 AMThank you Mel Gibson for making this movie I wept to see such vivid photos...The Lord will bless you and your household...do not let the ungodly tell you this is wrong...I appreciate what you have done for the cause of Christ. We really can not read and comprehend the suffering Christ went through for each and everyone of us. Can not wait to see it...it will change lives. In Christ name
love vickie
Alas someone finally makes a movie that will be worth seeing. Satan has had his field day in the theaters....Finally God will get his turn. I hope it is a real wake up call to all the atheists out there. You know the ones....they cry out "oh God save us when their plane is crashing." I hope that many people will come to the Lord through this movie.....To you Mel Gibson.....a work well done !!!!
Posted by: Tracy at August 16, 2003 04:33 PMIt takes a big heart and courage to make a film such as this. I will probably see this film and break down and cry. After my struggle with my beliefs I know the Christ gave his life for my sins and loves me for who I am. dittos to the lord!!
Posted by: Olivia at August 18, 2003 10:03 AMeventhough this story is not historically proven, the Bible says it is so. The remake of this movie in this day and age will be gruesome, bloody and morbid. As a non practicing Catholic, I see this movie as an act of Hollywood trying to lure a different type of people into movies; a money making scheme, as is the Catholic Church. This will be an interesting movie to see, however, I will not see it so I can be "moved" or "touched", but as a movie made by Mel gibson and Hollywood. Satan lives in us all, even in devine Mel. I am slightly ashamed that Hollywood would make this movie, for it will stir up much more controversey than it is probably worth.
Posted by: Allison at August 21, 2003 12:47 PMi think this must be the most disgusting movie that is going to hit the screens, it involves incorrect facts and anti-Semitism. it has one sided facts that are not right for eg in the movie it says that the jews kill jesus. i dont understand how this will touch people as the fact are incorrect
Posted by: tamara at August 24, 2003 02:31 AMI commend Mel Gibson for taking a bold stand and being gutsy enough to show the truth. Something too many in this day are afraid to face.
Our country is a mess today because there are so many that are selfish and only after their own pleasures.
And so what if it's bloody. People these days are so hard-hearted these days they need to see it this way. But at least it's the truth!!!
Mel Gibson is willing to risk his career for this movie.
He will be rewarded greatly!!!
putting all critics aside, everyone will be faced with the reality that this man Jesus had the opportunity to leave and avoid the cross, but decided to endure the physical death and shame to fullfill his promise to the world. everyone should be humbled and brought to their knees thanking Jesus. for he is our savior.
Posted by: Ronny at September 8, 2003 01:44 PMThank you, Mel Gibson for standing by your convictions. It amazes me how people don't protest non-christian entertainment, "Hollywood has no problem with putting trash on TV for all to see ie...Boy Meets Boy" (just one example) but boy do they come out of the woodwork when you start talking about Jesus. There IS power in HIS name!! I do want to see this moving so that I may be impacted by the reality of His death, to give my flesh something to remember next time I want to whine about how hard things may be at the time. I know how I feel when I read of what He went through for me, but to have a visual of what my sin did to Him, I hope will aid my growth.
Posted by: Amber at September 9, 2003 01:10 AMThose who are condemning the concept that the Jewish religious leaders were responsible for having Jesus killed have not read the Bible. This is not an antisemitic statement -- Jesus was a Jew. The religious leaders of the day (Jews) didn't like His message because He said "I and the Father are One" which meant He was God. This statement so infuriated the religious leaders that they sought his death and appealed to the Roman authority to have him crucified for his "blasphemous" statements, among other charges. This is not antisemitiscm but clearly the historical truth of Christ's death. To tell it any other way would be a lie. The first Christians were clearly Jews who believed that Christ was the foretold messiah. Christ then gave the disciples the command to go first to the Jew and then to the Gentile to preach the gospel. All Christians should realize the fact that our sin, corporately, lead to Christ's death. He became the sacrifice for our sins, thus replacing the sacrifice that was performed in the temple. If we are Gentiles, we should not hate nor condemn the Jews, for it was Jesus who came to suffer and die for the Jews and graciously included the Gentiles in the salvation plan.
It's in the Bible. Read the Old and the New Testament, for you won't understand the New without first reading the Old.
May God bless you and may God bless Mel Gibson as he endures the criticism and struggles with the production of this movie. I pray that God will guide him in his decisions and give him discernment in portraying this special story on film.
Posted by: EL at September 12, 2003 11:33 PMI think it is so amazing that it takes a movie to move people's hearts, but AMEN1! Whatever it takes for the world to see how much Christ suffered, while we were still sinners, and died so that we all may have a chance at life...Mel, someone in my class said the other day, "what's wrong with Mel Gibson. He had the world in his hands. Why would he go and do a movie like this?" My only thought, as well as comment, was that you don't care about the world. You would much rather show the truth and be hated than keep quiet and be loved! Much love to you, I'm sure this media persecution is nothing compared to how much you are pleasing Daddy!
Posted by: disciple#425678926003 at September 18, 2003 11:45 AMMr. Gibson is truly a brave heart. I don't believe it is an accident or coincidence that Mel Gibson was chosen to bring this type of filming and story to the Big screen. What an awesome privilege. I believe he was being led to make this film and I believe there is no better time than the present that the story of the life and death of Jesus (and hopefully the resurrection too)be told. It is obvious that we are ripe for the message (once again) in all its entirety. Maybe it has to be told in all its bloody detail, this time, to help it to sink into our thick skulls that it was a tremendous love that God and Jesus had for us that He chose to endure such unimaginable pain and suffering for our sakes. It truly was for each and every one on this planet, even the person who can't stand the thought of a real Jesus. It is the ultimate fulfillment of His very own words when He told us to love our enemies. He did it first. It truly is an amazing and awesome truth and love, one that humanity will never fully comprehend.
I support Mr. Gibson and his efforts 100%. It makes me extremely sad that he is having so much trouble finding a distributor for this film. I will be praying that a distributor will be found, and soon, because it is so extremely important for our selfish, sinful, dying world.
God bless you and your family Mr. Gibson. I'll be praying for you and your family as well.
Posted by: Jennifer at September 22, 2003 10:35 AMWould scandle surround this film if it were a movie about a hindu god or Budha! Probably not... scandle always surrounded Jesus in His time on earth as it is today. He was a rebble who broke the rules. Who did things that were out of the norm. To say that this film is anti semetic is to say that a film about nazi germany is anti german. German people were involved in the killing of millions of Jews. It is historical fact. Should it be recorded differently in order to save the feelings of germans today? There were jewish people involved in the death of Jesus... but there were also non-Jewish people who were involved in putting him to death. This is the truth as recorded in scripture and non-biblical documents. How can this be anti-Jewish.... Jesus himself was a Jew. Read all the facts and see the movie before you make a judgement.
Posted by: Clint Botha at October 7, 2003 05:25 PMThank you, Mel Gibson, wife & family, for this upcoming movie. May the LORD God richly bless and keep you and your family in His loving care. I did not know that a hollywood actor existed that was so devoted to Christ. Bravo! You are brave to stand up for our Lord, Jesus Christ, knowing the criticism you will receive by your hollywood peers. You have a new devoted fan. Thank you so very much.
Mr. Gibson,
I have been a fan since Lethal Weapon, I was amazed at your incredible talent in Hamlet, and I was overwhelmed by your passion and depth of characters in Braveheart and The Patriot. I believe God was preparing you for this awesome task of giving our graphic, apathetic and gothic culture the truth of what is real: forgiveness, sacrifice and unconditional love. I am a devoted traditional Catholic (convert), mother of 5 beautiful sons, married to a great man for 15 years and I am most moved by Christ's passion story. I studied his pain and suffering as a Lutheran and I meditated on Christ's passion through the Sorrowful Mysteries. I hope you have a scene of the Garden of Gethsmane. As a human, Christ was so torn by what He knew was going to come, He asked God 3 times to take this "cup of suffering" and He was so anquished that He sweat drops of blood. Thank you for being an incredible example to Hollywood for a sustaining marriage, of leading a morally principled life, and having a real and present faith in God. Please tell your wife that she is an inspiration of devoted motherhood. Bravo to you Mrs. Gibson!
Amen Mel, Amen.

How can any of this make sense? Has this world gone mad??? Is there any rational thought here? How did it happen that we've created a civilization but still "reason" like cavemen? I LOVE YOU FATHER JESUS!!! And God bless us all!
How DARE people TRY to rewrite history! Don't they realize that every time they write the date they are confirming the date that God came to Earth in the person of Jesus Christ, the Messiah? HE paid the ultimate penalty,to die to pay for our
sins so we could be cleansed from our sins and be able to enter into the presence of THE Holy God? A film like yours is a MIRACLE to be produced and released in this secular/agnostic/athiestic age! Blessings to you, Mel and your family! I count the days to see the movie! I pray it may cause people to go find a Bible and read the inspired word of God themselves; that lives will be changed! My first brush with anti-sematism was in the fourth grade when a friend called me a Christ killer. I did not understand what that ment till I asked my mother. She explained that some people don't like the Jews and that was just one way of expressing their hatred. After years of hearing all of the other expressions of hate. Why must we continue? Can't we tolerate each others differences and learn to embrace them? Please I don't think this fragil place we call Earth can take much more, and I believe neither can Jesus.

Posted by: Gina at February 12, 2004 12:19 PMI do not see why any true christian would support this or go see it. First of all Mel Gibson is not a Christian but he is Catholic, Idoltry, and Paganist. So Jim (James) who plays the role of Jesus. Gibson brought in many actors of all religions such as Muslims, Budhist, etc. to play parts in this movie. Gibson's past movies were not godly at all. His interviews are full of foul language along with hate and angry. Everyone is talking about how much money he spent out of his own pocket to make this movie, but what about how much money Gibson will make out of your pockets? Is he stealing from the poor to fed his own belly? Robbing widows houses to do a movie? Don't forget it was the Jews who turned Jesus over to be killed by the Romans. Dont you see the picture? Roman Catholics? What about his next "R" Rated movie will you go and see it and allow your children also? We are not to cause our children to go through the fire. I don't understand how Mel plays a fornicator in vivid roles in movies such as "lethal Weapon",and know is supposed to be this advocate for Christ.I for one do not desire to see my Lord scourged for 25 minutes straight in this movie. Also the account of Jesus being thrown off a bridge is false, not to mention the the loss off an eye from what I understand.I have a uneasy feeling about where this movie will lead.I'm sure some will earnestly repent and accept Christ, for this I praise God.I am leary of what the end result will be for the masses...I suspect the compromising of scriptures to be unified in an apostate mainstream church...and all unaware, spiritually starving.God help them and us.We need more solid unwavering words of Christ and biblical truth, and less gore. This is my position.God bless all my brothers and sisters in Christ.

A Message is being sent to us all from above and through Mel. Some one is always chosen to send us a message but, we just do not get it. We are too quick to judge and critisize.
You watch the news everyday. You see pain everyday.
Hate? Hate has been on this earth for as long as we all know. You all have a heart, use it. Thing with your hearts not with your minds. Don't worry about what others think. Be proud of who YOU are.
I believe in God, but the more I hear about this movie - the less I want to see it. Hollywood is all about sensationalism and capitalism. What kind of message is Mel Gibson really sending? There is a definite hidden agenda, here.
I encourage Christians to look beyond the sensationalism of such a movie coming out during the Lenten season, and to realize the unholy aspect of what is really being portrayed, here. Seems to me Gibson is just another attention seeker - like many other actors.
What a marvelous way to stir up the audience to see such a movie -- the brutality of the passion at the Easter Season and the mockery of the Jewish people.
Cha-ching - keeps that money coming in, Mel.
Yes, he spent money to make the movie - but he will get more than just his money back multi-fold. He also gets his name in movie-making history.
At what cost? On the backs of Christians and the never-ending bashing of Jews. Talk about the devil in the details!!! The works of Satan never fail to amaze and here he is, yet again - twisting the minds of believers.
Gibson will have his own judgment day on which to atone.
this movie is all set in time, and a wakeup call to all people, and to those injsutic rulers; who are ruling the univers in the name of jesus, to tell how much protality and injustise are painfull and agny to the human race.......

I am a Christian and am a member of a Southern Baptist church and I have worn a Star of David for several years because Jesus was a Jew and I love the Jewish people and want them to come to salvation as well. I have never in all of my 46 years thought of the Jews in the way many of you state, nor have I ever hated the Jews. Jesus chose the nails, He chose the cross, He chose to die so that we can live in Heaven with Him someday. All we have to do is to confess our sins and ask Him to come into our heart and believe and trust in Him. I have already seen the movie twice as I have taken different people both times.

Egyptian Coptic Christian orthodox christians are been killed every day for the name of the Christ, but if it was for us, our Blood wouldn't be enough to pay back even little as much as a grain seed for His overwhelming Love and Care...LORD, Please remember us all and keep Your Eyes watching us Day and Night, Keep us away from evil, and Plant Your Good seeds within our hearts, for You Are The Only God My Heart will Ever Know...I love You Lord, accept me, I am who is not worthy of standing infront of you, Forgive me and accept me, for I have cried and waited for Your coming all my days and till the day I die...Amen.

The insults of the Jewish community and holocaust denials of Mel Gibson's father would have landed him in jail in Germany. Only the time will tell if Gibson's provocation had paid off. It is interesting though that the largest contributors to the state of Israel are evangelical Christians, by far exceeding contributions of the Jewish Diaspora. Should the movie increase the ranks of evangelical communities, Mel Gibson's may have achieved the exact opposites of his goals. As a Christian, though, I find it revolting, that someone plays upon my beliefs, insults my Jewish friends, with one idea - to make as much money as he possibly can.
Posted by: David K. at March 3, 2004 05:26 AMI'm Jewish, I saw the movie and thought it was powerful and moving. I don't agree with Christian theological claims but found the story inspiring nonetheless. I didn't see anti-Semitism. I thought Pilate was shown as too nice a guy, but as for the treatment of Jews, I thought Mel Gibson made it perfectly clear that a small number of priests were out to get Jesus; ordinary Jews were sympathetic to Jesus's plight. That's not anti-Semitic any more than criticizing George Bush is anti-American. If some people think that Gibson didn't make it clear enough, it would be nice if they would help clarify that point instead of just screaming "This movie will teach you to hate Jews!" I thought it was a powerful movie about love, compassion and forgiveness. Hearing people screaming that it's actually a movie about hate isn't likely to persuade me to change my mind.

THEY R NOT TEACHING KIDS TO HATE OR BLAME JEWS...CAUSE WE WERE ALL PART OF THAT IT WOULD OF HAPPENED THE SAME WAY ANY PLACE IN THE WORLD, BUT HE WENT THERE BECAUSE IT WAS KNOWN AS HIS PEOPLE BECAUSE HE DELIVERED THEM OUT OF EYGEPT TO WERE THEY R NOW, BUT THIS IS TO SHOW HIS LOVE FOR MAN KIND AND WHAT HE WENT THROUGH JUST TO FORGIVE OUR MIGHTY SINS....IF ANYTHING THIS SHOULD TEACH KIDS TO LOVE NOT HATE.....I THINK THIS WAS A AWSOME MOVIE AND THEY SHOULD GET PRAISED NOT BROUGHT DOWN BY PEOPLE WHO CAN'T UNDERSTAND THE REAL MEANING

"I don't understand how Mel plays a fornicator in vivid roles in movies such as "lethal Weapon",and now is supposed to be this advocate for Christ"
Great point,Daniel Lingner!
If Lucifer/Satan had produced the movie, the so called Christian world would be praising him.
From Corithians II,
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
How great is the darkness and deception into which the Christian world has fallen.
God is using Mel in this movie, making us realize that we are forgeting why he died for. Yes he suffered, Mel is not acussing, he is showing what The Bible say. He is just showing what we are not wanting to see, but really happened. It is a great movie that doesn't show hate but only the love of a mother for her son, and most of all, the love of God for us giving away his only son to save the world. Why this movie is a big impact on people? Because we are so busy doing other things, that we forget why Jesus died for, and bringing the story of Jesus to the big screen makes a stop of the rest of what ever is happening around the world. God bless Gibson for remminding the world.

Posted by: Bunnie Rollinson at March 31, 2004 09:04 AMNOTICE THIS MEL MADE THOSE MOVIES BEFORE...
HELLO???????? OBVIOUSLY HE IS TURNING HIS LIFE AROUND AS WE ALL SHOULD!!!!!!!!!
THIS IS REAL...WE HAVE LIVED IT
TO POST A FEW'''''''''''''
This experience occurred about 25 years ago, but the blessing will forever remain in our hearts. We had absolutely no food in our home and three little boys we needed to provide for. We prayed... we cried... we then begged God to provide...none of this is scriptural. After we shook off the doubt, the fear, and unbelief we decided to walk in what way we knew to walk. I placed a pot of water on the stove to boil, as a step of faith, and my husband went to the store to receive the groceries; he did not have a penny to his name but we knew whose name to call on. He selected a shopping cart and began to shop and shop and shop. When he entered the checkout stand the sales clerk totaled the items and he proceeded to explain to her his dilemma.
She called the manager and told him; he came out from his office and asked my husband did he have everything he needs and he told him no because they didn't have certain items we needed. The manager told him NO CHARGE, pulled out extra cash from his pocket and gave it to him and said,"go wherever you need to and buy the rest!" God is so good.
This happened about 12 years ago. It was about 2am E one summer morning and I awoke suddenly as if someone shook me. Well when I wake up in that manner I know I probably need to pray. I said a short prayer in the spirit and went back to sleep. About 2 hours or so later my eldest son Gerald knocked on my bedroom door and the first words out of his mouth were"Mom don't turn on the light" ..well being a mom you know I was alarmed, I asked him what was wrong and he proceeded to tell me he had an accident on the way to pick his friend up from work (who had no transportation), and he fell asleep at the wheel!! Of course I was startled but I remained calm and asked was he okay, he said yes and said" I just want to go to bed"; I left it at that and thanked God he was alright. When I awoke the next morning I knew why he said don't turn on the light, he had blood from the top of his shirt collar all the way down to his pant leg!! He had slammed his vehiclev into a telephone pole and wrapped around it because the impact was so extreme the residents at a apartment complex heard it 1/2 mile away!! The police thought he was dead at the scene, they had to revive him, but praise God not one scratch was on him. The other wonderful part is his Dad was out of town on business but earlier that afternoon had a sudden unction to pray, left his meeting, went into his hotel room and prayed in the spirit until he had a release. Praise God for the the Holy Ghost and my husband's obedience to pray...it saved my baby's (then 16) life!!!!!!
One morning I was going about my daily chores of the household and had a sudden unction to pray. As I began the Holy Sprirt led me to pray for my brother. As I was praying I also began praying against any danger coming near him or his apartment complex of which I thought was quite odd but you need to go with the flow for God knows all things. Well after I received a note of victory I continued on with my daily chores. I do not recall the exact amount of time between my prayers and this actual scenario but it was probably about a month later... a horrific tornado touched down in the area where he was living , (they normally don't have tornadoes), it was late one evening so all he heard was this loud noise and he peered out of the window he but could not see a thing!!! He said as the sound grew louder it sounded like a freight train and he knew it was a tornado but it was too late for him to escape so he just braced himself... mind you he lived on the third level of the complex. Well... he waited for the worst that never came!!!The noise subsided after a few moments which of course to him seemed like an eternity.
He just thanked God and went back to bed. The next day he awoke to complete devastation surrounding his entire complex and continuing down for several blocks. PRAISE GOD!!! as soon as the tornado approached his corner it lifted over the complex and touched down on the other side of it THANK-GOD .
As usual I was minding my own business attending to my daily routines when the Holy Ghost halted me and prompted me to pray. When I began to pray He directed me to pray immediately for my precious little grandson, Jordan. I prayed for a moment (it doesn't always take long), then he just directed me to say continually "he shall live and not die"; "he shall live and not die. " I had a release and forgot about it. Well ........ a few days later my daughter-in-law told me how he was laying on the dressing table, (he was just 4 mos.), and he apparently learned to turn over without her knowledge. Well...... something startled her and she turned around for an instant and he flipped out and before she could catch him ..............
he fell right on top of his little head . INTO A LAUNDRY BASKET FULL OF TOWELS! God is so faithful and merciful, PRAISE HIM! Not a scratch.
Come back soon
good picture

"Great point,Daniel Lingner!" Not really......
Here's another bad point......this time from George......
"From Corithians II,
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

George, let me ask you something......Who wrote that passage in 2 Corinthians? Paul right? And what did Paul do before writting all those letters in the New Testiment? HE KILLED CHRISTIANS!!!! Oh yeah!! GOOD POINT huh?!
For all who think this movie is teaching you to hate Jews, I say the only reason you think that is because your jumping on the bandwagan of other people saying that and you have done no real research or thinking of your own. Jesus was Jewish, Jesus's family was Jewish, Jesus had Jewish friends, the first christians where Jewish before Jesus did what he did, but because some Jews falsely accused Jesus and a movie shows that, that means the point of the movie is to hate Jews huh?
Please, think for yourselves and before posting
anything else that says "THIS MOVIE TEACHES YOU TO HATE JEWS" give some kind of logical reasoning behind it.
Metaphysics is the finding of bad reasons for what we believe upon instinct, but to find these reasons is no less an instinct.
