From Loome Theological Booksellers:
"The acquisition of Christian books is necessary for those who can use them. For the mere sight of these books renders us less inclined to sin and incites us to believe more firmly in righteousness." - Abba EpiphaniusPosted by billw at January 2, 2003 07:19 AM
How can I arrange for Abba Epiphanius to explain this to my wife?
Posted by: Tom at January 2, 2003 11:23 AMIf the day comes when I must move north, perhaps to Stillwater, MN, as has been discussed, Loome is where I shall go with my rusty resume and love of books.
In fact, Stillwater would make quite a good vacation destination for the bibliophile, being the home of Loome Theological Booksellers, Loome Used Booksellers and several other large used book operations. There are some good places to eat and drink, too. (Personally, I'd avoid that part of the world during the winter, Chicago is nasty enough for me.....)
