There is no Saint Brady

From a recent blog comment:

I don't believe there is a Saint Brady; I can't find a reference to one via google or in the Dominican martyrology.

In the blog post you commented on, I was referring ironically to a late 1960s American TV show "The Brady Bunch". A popular hymn in the US is set to a tune similar to the theme song for the TV show.

"Brady" is an Irish name, probably derived from the Irish surname Ó Brádaigh, which means "descendent of Brádach", but I haven't found a reference on the net to a Saint Bradach.

Perhaps someone at the National Museum of Ireland could help you:

or someone at a Benedictine monastery in Ireland:

Metaphysics is the finding of bad reasons for what we believe upon instinct, but to find these reasons is no less an instinct.
